Jordan's Meteorological Department forecasts continued cold weather across the country in the coming days, with scattered rain showers expected, particularly in northern and central regions.

The department has warned of frost and freezing conditions during the late-night and early morning hours on Sunday, urging caution, especially in mountainous areas.

On Sunday, temperatures will remain low across most regions, while conditions will be relatively warmer in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Low-altitude clouds are expected throughout the day. Light rain showers may begin in northern Jordan by evening, gradually extending to parts of central and eastern regions overnight, with winds shifting from southwesterly to westerly.

A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Monday, but the weather will remain cold, with continued chances of scattered rain showers in the north, center, and parts of eastern Jordan.

By Tuesday, another slight increase in temperatures is anticipated, but cold conditions will persist, and rain chances will weaken, mainly limited to northern areas.

On Wednesday, cold weather will continue nationwide, with light rain showers possible in northern and central regions by the afternoon. Winds may pick up at times during the evening.

The Meteorological Department has warned of potential frost and freezing temperatures during the early morning and nighttime hours, particularly in mountainous areas. Visibility may also be reduced due to fog in highlands and plains.

Authorities have urged caution on wet roads, recommended wearing warm clothing, particularly in high-altitude regions, and advised the public to follow official weather updates for the latest information.
