Weather forecast: Coldest night of season hits Jordan
Jordan will experience its coldest night of the season from Saturday into Sunday as frigid Arctic winds bring temperatures close to freezing across several regions – according to ArabiaWeather.
Subzero temperatures
Temperatures are expected to drop below freezing in the Sharah Mountains, the Badia region, and parts of the eastern plains.
Widespread frost and ice formation
With reduced cloud cover and weakening winds, conditions will be ideal for widespread frost formation, even in major cities. Ice is also likely in areas where water has accumulated.
Early onset of frost
Frost is expected to develop early Saturday night, intensifying through the night and reaching its peak at dawn and early Sunday morning. The most affected areas will include the Badia region, high-altitude mountain ranges, and the eastern plains. Dense fog is also expected late at night in Zizya, Queen Alia International Airport, and parts of the Badia.
