Jordan stresses need for full implementation of Gaza ceasefire

Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said Sunday that Jordan stresses the need for the full implementation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, and the immediate delivery of humanitarian aid to all parts of the Strip.

“Jordan was not part of the arrangements for the prisoner exchange deal, which we fully support and have backed its finalization,” Safadi said on his X account.

“The Kingdom did not prevent either of the two citizens released as part of the exchange deal from entering Jordan. They will be allowed to enter the Kingdom if they decide to leave Palestine for Jordan,” he added.
