Army begins preparations for joint military exercise with UAE
Senior officers from the Jordanian Armed Forces—Arab Army (JAF) participated in a planning meeting on Saturday morning at the General Command with their counterparts from the UAE Armed Forces to initiate preparations for the joint military exercise.
The comprehensive national drill "Darb Al-Aman/4" will kick off on Sunday across Jordan.
This exercise signifies the continuation of strategic military cooperation between the two nations, highlighting the deep-rooted bilateral relations and historical ties between their leaderships.
During the meeting, officials discussed enhancing military integration and exchanging expertise across various domains, aiming to bolster the readiness of their armed forces and contribute to regional security and stability, as stated in an announcement from the JAF.
The primary objective of "Darb Al-Aman/4" is to assess the level of readiness and test public safety measures in various locations across the Kingdom's governorates.
Throughout the drill, which will conclude on Wednesday evening, participants will simulate a range of emergency scenarios and implement training activities involving multiple agencies and institutions.
