Families receive bodies of seven victims from elderly home fire
Families and relatives of the seven victims of the White Beds Society fire have received on Saturday the bodies from the National Institute for Forensic Medicine for burial.
A source close to the investigation revealed that the public prosecutor ordered the bodies to be handed over to their families after conducting DNA tests to confirm the identities of the deceased.
Earlier Saturday morning, it was announced that an elderly woman died from suffocation due to the fire, bringing the death toll to seven.

Earlier, Friday, Public Security Directorate announced that the fire, which claimed the lives of seven women and injured 60 others, was deliberately started by a resident in his 60s. The suspect has been arrested.
Dr. Ali Al-Abdallat, director of Al-Bashir Hospital, provided an update on the condition of those injured in the fire. He stated that 43 individuals were transferred to Al-Bashir Hospital early Friday, with cases ranging from moderate to severe injuries.
Of the injured, 35 have been discharged after receiving treatment, while seven remain hospitalized. Among them, five are in intensive care, and two are in moderate condition.
