Jordan strongly condemns "Israeli" massacre in Beit Lahia
Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned Israeli Occupation's recent attack on a residential building in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, which led to numerous Palestinian casualties and injuries, with dozens still trapped under debris.
In a statement received by Roya, the ministry emphasized that the attack is a blatant violation of international law and a continuation of the systematic targeting of Palestinian lives, taking place amid a lack of accountability.
The ministry's statement criticized the ongoing lack of international response, arguing that Israeli Occupation's immunity from accountability encourages further escalations and intensifies the humanitarian crisis that Gaza has been enduring for over a year.
Jordan called on the global community, especially the UN Security Council, to urgently intervene to halt Israeli Occupation’s persistent violations and alleged war crimes against the Palestinian people.
Additionally, Jordan urged the Arab League to hold an emergency meeting to address the continuing escalation.
