Rain begins to fall in Jordan Wednesday
Jordan is experiencing its first wave of unstable weather this season, leading to scattered rainfall in eastern areas and along the desert highway, particularly in Zmelah, Zizia, and Suwaqa. The Public Security Directorate has urged motorists to exercise caution on rain-affected roads.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department and the ArabiaWeather platform, varying cloud cover is expected across the country, with short, heavy downpours likely, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms and hail, especially in eastern and southeastern regions. Winds are predicted to be moderate, originating from the southeast and occasionally stirring dust in desert areas.
Nighttime temperatures will drop, with a continued chance of rain in the northeastern desert regions. Southeastern winds will persist, at times intensifying.
