US media reveals details of proposal to end 'Israeli' aggression on Lebanon
'Israeli' military officials have reportedly advised Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant that it might be an appropriate time to consider ending hostilities with Hezbollah, according to US-based news site Axios.
The proposed agreement under discussion includes a ceasefire declaration, followed by a 60-day transitional period.
During this phase, Hezbollah would relocate its heavy weaponry to areas north of the Litani River, away from the border with Israeli Occupation. Additionally, the Lebanese Army would deploy approximately 8,000 soldiers along the southern border, based on an attempt to reactivate United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701.
During the transitional period, Israeli Occupation Forces would begin a phased withdrawal to positions beyond the border. According to 'Israeli' newspaper Haaretz, there is an agreement within Israeli Occupation's security establishment to leverage military achievements in southern Lebanon and Gaza as a foundation for potential peace agreements.
