Hezbollah said it strongly condemns the attack, which it described as a “treacherous Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran” and a “dangerous escalation for the entire region.”
The group said that this “blatant attack on Iran’s sovereignty and the esteemed Islamic Republic will in no way alter its steadfast and clear stance in fully supporting the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples at all levels.”
Hezbollah commended the Iranian Armed Forces for “the successful defense against this attack” – after Iranian media reported that the airstrike failed to inflict any serious damage and dismissed Hebrew media reports as “exaggerated and false.”
