Jordan condemns “Israeli” airstrikes on Iran

Jordan condemned today “Israel's” airstrikes on Iranian territory, calling them a violation of international law, an infringement on sovereignty, and a dangerous escalation that risks deepening regional tensions – per a statement by the Foreign Ministry.

Ministry spokesperson, Ambassador Dr. Sufian Qudah, reaffirmed Jordan's outright rejection of such escalations and breaches of international law, cautioning against a slide into conflict that threatens regional stability and global security.

Ambassador Qudah called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and take immediate measures to halt “Israeli” aggression on Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon.

He emphasized this as a necessary step toward de-escalation, demanding an end to “Israel’s” breaches of international law and UN resolutions, and underscoring the importance of protecting regional security and stability from the grave consequences of continued attacks – according to the statement.
