The Jerusalem Post cited an “Israeli” diplomat confirming that Tel Aviv plans to respond to the assassination attempt, holding Iran ultimately responsible for the incident.
The Israeli Occupation military spokesperson stated that the drone, launched from Lebanon, targeted a building in Caesarea with the intent of harming Netanyahu, and a thorough investigation into the attack was launched at the time.
Netanyahu himself addressed the assassination attempt, stating that Iranian agents who tried to kill him and his wife had made a "grave mistake."
He claimed that this attempt would not deter him or Tel Aviv from continuing their military campaign in Gaza and Lebanon.
He further warned Iran, saying, "Anyone who harms Israeli citizens will pay a heavy price." Netanyahu reiterated that 'Israel' would continue its operations to eliminate "terrorists" and make efforts to bring back captives from Gaza, as well as ensure the return of residents to the north.
