British Airways suspends flights to “Israel” until March 2025
British Airways, the flag carrier of the United Kingdom, said it is suspending its flights to Tel Aviv amid the escalation tensions between “Israel” and Hezbollah.
The airline said it will suspend flights to Tel Aviv until the end of March, 2025.
“This will give greater certainty to our customers who we’re contacting to advise them of their options, including a full refund,” a spokesperson for British Airways said in an emailed statement cited by “The Times of Israel”.
Several other airlines extended their flight suspension to “Israel”; including Wizz air until January 15 and Delta Airlines until the end of next March.

Earlier, the “Israeli” army radio cited a military source stating when the ongoing ground operation in Lebanon is going to conclude.
The source said that the operation is expected to end within weeks, saying that after its completion, residents of north “Israel” would be able to return to their homes.
Hostilities continue to escalate between the “Israeli” military and Lebanon’s Hezollah. Hebrew media reported earlier that a ballistic missile had been launched from south Lebanon targeting Tel Aviv, with rocket alarm sirens failing to activate.
Settlers in Tel Aviv reported hearing an explosion, but it remains unclear if any damage resulted from the ballistic missile.
