Speech from Naim Qassem, Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah

Naim Qassem, Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah, addressed audiences in a pre-recorded television speech.

Qassem condemned the Israeli Occupation and its allies for perpetrating massacres and emphasized the need for a decisive stance in the current situation.

Highlighting the significance of the events of October 7, Qassem stated that they came after 75 years of occupation, a struggle he deemed a legitimate right.

He labeled the US as the "greatest devil" seeking to reshape the Middle East and condemned both the US and the Israeli Occupation for committing acts of genocide in Palestine and Lebanon.

Qassem asserted that, given the Israeli Occupation's indiscriminate targeting of all of Lebanon, Hezbollah has the right to strike any point it deems necessary. He emphasized the party's capability to target "any location in the occupied entity," stating they will choose the right moment to act.

Despite the severe challenges faced, Qassem affirmed that Hezbollah remains resilient and has regained its operational strength. He characterized the current confrontation as dealing with a "raging beast," declaring, "We will restrain it and bring it back to the pen." He added, "We in the resistance fight with honor, while the enemy fights with brutality."
