Safadi: Israeli Occupation seeks to empty Gaza of its population

Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi stated that the Israeli Occupation seeks to empty the Gaza Strip of its population, emphasizing that the ethnic cleansing and the obstruction of food and medical supplies to the area constitute a war crime.

In his remarks, Safadi noted that comprehensive peace in the region cannot be achieved without granting the Palestinian people their independent state.

He called on the international community to compel "Israel" to cease the killing and destruction and to allow humanitarian aid to reach the Palestinian people.

Safadi also stressed the urgent need to take action to stop the Israeli Occupation aggression and to provide protection for the Palestinian people in Gaza.
