Jordanian military foils drug smuggling attempts via drones on western border
Early Friday morning, the Jordanian Southern Command of Jordan thwarted three attempts to smuggle drugs using drones along its western front.
A spokesperson from the Jordanian Armed Forces reported that border guards, in coordination with military security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department, intercepted the drones attempting to cross the border illegally. The forces applied engagement rules, successfully downing the drones and seizing their cargo inside Jordanian territory. The confiscated materials were handed over to the relevant authorities.
