In a statement, Ministry spokesperson Ambassador Dr. Sufyan Qudah held "Israel", as the occupying power, fully responsible for the escalation.
He labeled the attack a "flagrant violation" of international and humanitarian law.
He criticized the ongoing Israeli Occupation assaults on Palestinians in the West Bank, as well as the simultaneous attacks on Gaza and Lebanon, stating that these actions reflect a deliberate attempt by "Israel" to expand the conflict regionally and threaten the security and stability of the broader region.
Ambassador Qudah further stressed that this escalation highlights the "Israeli" government’s refusal to cooperate with international efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions.
He called on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to take immediate action to halt the aggression, protect Palestinian civilians, and hold "Israel" accountable for its continued violations of international law.
