Airlines resume flights to Amman
The Chairman of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC), Haitham Misto, announced that airlines have gradually resumed scheduled flights to Queen Alia International Airport as tensions in the region decrease.
In a statement to Roya, Misto clarified that Emirates Airlines' decision to suspend its flights to Jordan until Oct. 5 was made by the airline itself, not the UAE government, highlighting that only two out of four UAE-based airlines have halted flights, while the other two continue operating.

He indicated that the suspended flights might fully resume on Friday, Oct. 4. Mesto added that assessments of the situation are ongoing in coordination with local and international bodies, stressing the global commitment to international aviation agreements concerning civil aviation security, passenger safety, and air navigation regulations.
He further noted that if there were any imminent travel threats, precautionary actions, such as immediate airspace closure, would be required, as the Civil Aviation Authority did two days ago.
