Jordanians rally in solidarity with Palestine, Lebanon; condemn Israeli Occupation aggression
In response to the ongoing Israeli aggression, Jordanians gathered in large numbers after Friday prayers to participate in solidarity marches in support of the Palestinian resistance.
The demonstrations were held in Amman and other cities, with participants voicing their support for the people of Gaza and the West Bank, and denouncing the Israeli Occupation’s military assaults on Lebanon.
Participants chanted against the US support for Israel and criticized the international community for its silence in the face of continuous massacres and the targeting of civilians in Gaza.
Demonstrators also condemned the blockade preventing the delivery of humanitarian and medical aid to Gaza, as well as the ongoing aerial and artillery bombardments on Lebanon.
Despite widespread international calls for a ceasefire, the Israeli Occupation continues its assaults by air, land, and sea in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon.
Hundreds of civilians, many of them children and women, have been killed in these attacks. The international community has repeatedly called for an immediate halt to hostilities, but the violence continues to escalate.
