Ten family members killed as “Israeli” attacks continue to pound south Lebanon
Ten people were killed and at least five others injured in an “Israeli” strike on the southern Lebanese town of Al-Dawoudiyeh, early Tuesday – per Roya's correspondent.
The attack is part of an ongoing “Israeli” artillery bombardment, which has been hitting towns in the Marjeyoun district since Monday night. Among the areas targeted are Kfar Kila, Adaisseh, Khiam, and Wazzani in southern Lebanon.
Lebanon's Ministry of Health reported that Tuesday’s toll from “Israeli” airstrikes has reached 59 dead and 65 injured in the southern and Bekaa regions of the country.
In the early hours of Tuesday, the “Israeli” military officially announced a “limited and targeted” ground operation in southern Lebanon.
The operation, according to “Israeli” military sources, aims to neutralize Hezbollah infrastructure and positions near the border, which they claim pose an immediate threat to “Israeli” settlements.
