Lebanon adjusts troop deployment along southern border amid "Israeli" ground incursion threats

The Lebanese military is adjusting the deployment of its troops along the southern border, a military official revealed to AFP on Monday.

The official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity due to the sensitive nature of the situation, indicated that the Lebanese army is "repositioning and regrouping forces" in light of potential "Israeli" actions aimed at Hezbollah targets.

This move comes in response to the US reporting that "Israel" had communicated its plans for limited ground operations within Lebanon.
