"Israeli ground operation in southern Lebanon could begin tonight," says American official

6 days ago|An American official indicated that Tel Aviv informed the US of an imminent ground operation in southern Lebanon, which could begin tonight, CBS News reported.
Another official noted that "Israeli" special forces have carried out limited incursions into southern Lebanon.
Additionally, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority (IBA) stated that "Israeli" Prime Minister Netanyahu is conducting limited security consultations this evening following a meeting of the security and political cabinet.
