At the forefront of this group is the Islamic Action Front, followed by the National Islamic List. Five centrist parties also stand out: the Charter, Will, Determination, Progress, and the National Union, along with the Blessed Land.
Initial results show the Islamic Action Front and other centrist parties leading in 16 of the 18 districts. While results from Amman Third District and Irbid First District are still awaited, the Islamic Action Front maintains its lead over its nearest rival, the National Islamic List, which is classified as an "independent civil political organization."
Among the 36 parties in total, the top five are emerging prominently in various districts. The Islamic Action Front currently dominates 15 of the 16 districts. However, the Badia Central district has seen a shift, with the "Our Path—Jordanian Communist Party" gaining ground over the Islamic Action Front.
As the vote counting continues, the competing parties are fluctuating in their quest to secure the winning threshold. Stay tuned for the latest updates and figures for the top five parties, based on real-time data from the Independent Election Commission.
