New regulations, instructions issued in Jordan

The latest issue (No. 5937) of the Official Gazette in Jordan announced new instructions and regulations for various sectors.

The 2024 Instructions for Offices Recruiting Non-Jordanian Domestic Workers were issued under Article 21, Paragraph A of the Regulation No. 63 of 2020.

Additionally, the following regulations were issued:

- Licensing System for Brokerage Companies to Employ Jordanians domestically and abroad
- Juvenile Protection System
- Stationary Aircraft System
- Licensing Fees for Banks System
- Regulations for Residential Centers for Persons with Disabilities
- Medication Testing System
- Testing System for Medical Supplies, Disinfectants, and Cosmetics

New instructions include:

- 2024 Instructions for Regulating Private Nurseries
- 2024 Instructions for Regulating Nurseries at Public Workplaces
- 2024 Instructions for Managing and Operating Nurseries at Private and Public Workplaces
- Instruction No. 4 of 2024, which cancels Instruction No. 11 of 2002 on rewards for central and sub-promotion committees, experts, and specialists
- Amended instructions for licensing rental car offices for 2024
- Instructions for importing and exporting goods to and from free zones for manufacturing or repair purposes for 2024
- Amended executive instructions for the rules of election campaign advertisements for 2024
- Decision to amend the export fee for copper scrap
