Driver caught altering license plate with tape in Jordan

The Public Security Directorate reported that patrol officers caught a public vehicle driver on the Desert Highway on Tuesday altering the front and rear license plates using tape.

Captain Mahdi Hammoud from the Highway Patrol Department stated that the driver intentionally changed the number zero to an eight using adhesive tape. The driver and the vehicle were taken to a nearby police station for legal action.

In another incident, a rollover accident occurred on the Azraq-Zarqa road on Tuesday, injuring four people with injuries ranging from moderate to minor. They were transported to Prince Hashem Hospital for treatment.

The Highway Patrol Department urged all drivers to adhere to traffic rules and priorities and to avoid dangerous violations that could lead to serious accidents.
