Jordan braces for rising temperatures
Weather maps indicate that Jordan will be increasingly affected by a relatively hot air mass on Wednesday, with temperatures rising slightly to be about 3-5 degrees Celsius above average for this time of year – per ArabiaWeather’s forecasts.
The weather will be relatively hot over the mountainous regions and hot in other areas, with extremely hot conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, Aqaba, and the eastern desert regions.
In major cities and the capital Amman, high temperatures will reach the mid-30s Celsius, while temperatures in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, Aqaba, and large parts of the desert will climb to the low 40s Celsius.
Nighttime temperatures will also rise compared to previous nights, with moderate conditions in western areas and the eastern plains, while the rest of the kingdom will experience warm conditions, especially during the early evening hours.
Northwesterly winds will be moderate, accompanied by active gusts in the afternoon and evening, making the weather suitable for outdoor activities during the evening and night.
