The Directorate of Awqaf in Northern Jordan Valley, Irbid, has established 48 summer Quran memorization centers across various mosques. Operating under the theme "Speak kindly to people," these centers aim to provide comprehensive Islamic education.

Khaled Al-Qudah, the Director of Awqaf for the region, announced on Friday that qualified preachers, both male and female, along with certified imams holding degrees in Sharia, management, and Quranic recitation, will supervise these centers. There are 27 centers designated for males and 21 for females.

The summer centers will focus on teaching Quranic recitation, memorization, understanding, Hadith, the Prophet's biography, Islamic jurisprudence, and stories of the prophets. Additionally, they will emphasize instilling Islamic values, ethics, and national culture, alongside extracurricular activities.

Al-Qudah urged students to register at the nearest designated mosque within their residential areas. Classes are set to begin on Saturday, operating three days a week, as reported by the Jordan News Agency (Petra).
