A recently circulated video showed a camel in Ma'an Governorate taking shelter in a water well to escape the soaring temperatures.

The footage revealed that the camel sought refuge in a well designated for Desi water during a severe heatwave that hit Jordan a few days ago.

Unable to retrieve the camel themselves, locals called for civil defense personnel, who successfully rescued the animal from the well.
