The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the terrorist attacks that targeted places of worship in Derbent and a police station in the Dagestani capital, Makhachkala, two days ago in the Republic of Dagestan, Russia. The attacks resulted in several casualties and injuries.

The official spokesperson for the ministry, Ambassador Dr. Sufyan Al-Qudah, expressed the Kingdom's solidarity with the Russian Federation in this tragic incident. He reiterated the Kingdom's absolute rejection and condemnation of all forms of violence and terrorism, especially those targeting civilians and places of worship, and aimed at destabilizing security and stability.

Ambassador Al-Qudah also extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery for the injured.
