A young man narrowly escaped injury Thursday evening when a stray bullet struck his vehicle in Wadi Musa, located in southern Jordan.

According to Roya's correspondent, the young man was standing beside his vehicle when the stray bullet found its way through the air and struck the window of his car. Fortunately, the incident resulted in minimal damage, limited only to material losses.

Authorities from the Public Security Directorate (PSD) have been fervently renewing their warnings about firing bullets without caution, as it poses a serious threat to the lives of innocent citizens. Calls have been growing louder from the public to implement stringent measures against those who disregard the law and engage in reckless behavior.

The Directorate has previously released heart-wrenching images and videos, showcasing the devastating impact of stray bullets on families and children who have been left bereaved or injured. 

Citizens and authorities alike are urging for immediate steps to address this dangerous phenomenon and prevent any future casualties.
