A Tawjihi student was wounded by a stray bullet in Mafraq on Thursday evening, according to Roya's correspondent. This came as the student was celebrating the Tawjihi results.

Roya's reporter, quoting a security source, said that the student was admitted to Talal Military Hospital after being shot in the foot.

The student’s condition was described as moderate.

An investigation into the incident has been opened.
