A Danish far-right and anti-Islam organization set fire to a copy of the Holy Quran in front of the Iraqi embassy in Copenhagen, Denmark.

On social media, a video emerged on Friday, showing the desecration of the Quran and the burning of the Iraqi flag in front of the embassy. The group identifying themselves as "Danske Patrioter" (Danish patriots) displayed anti-Islamic banners and chanted offensive slogans.

During the attack, the group's supporters threw the Iraqi flag and the Quran on the ground, stomping on them, and live-streamed the incident on their Facebook account.

The group claimed that the attack was in response to an incident at the Swedish embassy in Baghdad.

The police had implemented stringent security measures during the group's attack.
