The Fruits and Vegetables Central Wholesale Market announced the latest prices of fresh produce Sunday.

According to the Greater Amman Municipality, the market received a total of 3,884 tons of fresh produce including 2,746 tons of vegetables, 926 tons of fruits and 212 tons of leafy greens.

According to the market's latest price list (per kilogram):

• Eggplants: 15-25 piasters
• Onions: 15-20 piasters
• Potatoes: 20-30 piasters
• Tomatoes: 7-12 piasters
• Carrots: 25-40 piasters
• Cucumbers: 20-30 piasters
• Cauliflower:  25-50 piasters
• Lemons: 50-70 piasters
• Bananas: 50-65
