Roya topped the list as the most-watched TV channel in Jordan for the year 2022, according to a study published by Ipsos.
Roya ranked first among all channels, followed by Saudi Arabia's MBC in second place, while Jordan TV ranked third.
Additionally, Roya topped the list as the most followed channel, with a 25.8 percent share of the study’s sample which consisted of 2,000 people over the age of 15. The study focused on the period between October and November 2022.
Roya’s news bulletins and briefs ranked first in terms of the highest viewership ratings in Jordan, followed by Al-Mamlaka TV, then Jordan TV.
Roya’s Akhbar Al Sabe’a news bulletin also received high viewership ratings and topped the list, followed by “Sabah Al-Mamlaka.”
The Nabd Al-Balad program – which is shown on Roya’s screen from Saturday to Wednesday at 8:30 pm – remained the most viewed talk show on local Jordanian screens, followed by JRTV’s ‘Al-Ordon Hatha Al-Masa’a’ in second place, and Al-Mamlaka TV’s ‘Sawt Al-Mamlaka’ in third place.
In the morning talk show category, Roya’s ‘Donya Ya Donya’ program which airs from 8:30 am to 11 am from Saturday to Thursday also topped the ranks, surpassing all other morning shows aired on local channels.
In weekly programs, Roya’s ‘Helwa Ya Donya’ ranked first over other Friday morning shows. The program airs every Friday from 9-11 am.
In the culinary category, the ‘Roya Kitchen’ program ranked first place among all others. The program airs from Saturday to Thursday from 11 am until 12 pm.
Roya affirms its pride in its Jordanian viewership and remains committed to serving its viewers. Roya has always been keen to serve its viewers and respond to their various desires by innovating and presenting everything that is new.
According to Ipsos – which was founded in Paris in 1975 – the error rate in its study is estimated at 2.2 percent of the national sample.
