Abu Khader Automotive has been officially appointed by Leapmotor International Business S.p.A. as its distributor in Jordan. This milestone builds on the group’s successful partnerships with Peugeot, Citroën, and Opel, and reflects Stellantis’ strategy to expand electric mobility offering in the region.
As part of this collaboration, a state-of-the-art Leapmotor showroom is set to open in January 2026 on Mecca Street, adjacent to other Stellantis brand showrooms operated by Abu Khader Group. In parallel, a shared aftersales facility will begin operations at the same time in the Bayader Wadi Al-Seer industrial area, offering customers a seamless and integrated service experience across brands. This advanced facility will feature more than 50 service bays equipped to manage maintenance, diagnostics, and bodywork services for electric and conventional vehicles alike.
Nicola Abu Khader, CEO of Abu Khader Group, commented:
“We are honored by Stellantis’ continued trust and the appointment for Leapmotor in Jordan. This dynamic and forward-thinking brand aligns perfectly with our mission to expand sustainable mobility solutions. We are proud to introduce their next-generation electric vehicles to the Jordanian market and deliver a top-of-the-line ownership experience to our customers.”
Xin Tianshu, CEO of Leapmotor International, added:
“We are committed to redefining the electric vehicle (EV) landscape by leveraging cutting-edge technology and innovation. The launch of Leapmotor in Jordan, through our trusted partner Abu Khader, marks another milestone in our expansion strategy. We believe their market expertise and customer dedication will accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles and set new standards for innovation and service.”
Leapmotor’s electric vehicle lineup is built on a highly advanced technology ecosystem, with over 60% vertical integration, meaning nearly 60% of the vehicle’s core components are developed in-house rather than outsourced. This ensures superior control over quality and performance while accelerating innovation. The brand’s advanced Cell-to-Chassis (CTC) architecture integrates the battery directly into the chassis for enhanced safety, efficiency, and optimized interior space. Vehicles are further supported by a centralized electronic brain with Over-The-Air (OTA) updates, enabling continuous system enhancements, alongside Level 2 autonomous driving technology that elevates safety and driving comfort.
The new showroom will showcase the Leapmotor brand’s latest technology-driven models and will be designed according to the brand’s global retail identity to create an immersive and modern brand experience. The product lineup will include the B10, C10 and the T03, all fully electric, state-of-the-art vehicles that combine advanced performance, bold design, and eco-conscious driving at accessible price points. These models cater to both the compact car and mid-size SUV segments, appealing to a wide range of customers.
The aftersales facility will offer comprehensive services, including mechanical and electrical diagnostics, body and paint repairs, and ongoing maintenance, all delivered by certified experts trained to the highest international standards. The center also includes contemporary customer lounges equipped with real-time maintenance tracking and comfortable amenities.
This strategic partnership further strengthens Abu Khader Automotive’s leadership in Jordan’s automotive landscape, while reinforcing Stellantis’ regional commitment to advancing innovative, clean, and inclusive mobility solutions.
