The world's largest floating book fair, the Logos Hope, is scheduled to dock in Aqaba Wednesday.

The Logos Hope has more than 5,000 titles on board and offers cultural performances from all around the globe on board of its ship.

Visitors can purchase books at reasonable price and enjoy their performances on Jan. 27 or Feb. 11 for a JD 3 admission.

Logos Hope's local project Manager Jabulani Mlambo told The Jordan Times that the ship will open its doors to the public on Jan. 26 until Feb. 15.

Notably, there are 400 volunteers from 65 different nationalities on board to help run the floating library's activities.

Earlier this week, crew members shared this photo one Instagram, expressing their excitement to come to Aqaba.

The caption read "Soon!!! We meet Aqaba."

According to the Tourism and Environment Commissioner at the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) Nidal Majali the Lagos Hope’s stop at Aqaba port is a part of the local “Dafa Janoubi Carnival.”
