Jordan records 16 deaths and 1,075 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 16 deaths and 1,075 new COVID-19 cases Thursday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 312,043.

The death toll has risen to 4,107.

The cases are:

-531 in Amman

-188 in Irbid, including 34 in Ramtha

-98 in Balqa

-56 in Mafraq

-27 in Karak

-23 in Ajloun

-12 in Tafilah

-57 in Zarqa

-42 in Jerash

-25 in Madaba

-12 in Aqaba

-Four in Ma'an

A total of 77 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 61 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 13,134 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 1,271 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 294,802.

There are 462 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 25,014 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 3,515,132.

Thursday, 4.30 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
