Jordan’s armed forces confirmed Sunday that Iranian projectiles targeted the Kingdom over the past 24 hours, as air defenses intercepted multiple threats.

The Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army said the Royal Air Force successfully intercepted and downed two Iranian missiles and two drones that were heading toward locations inside the country.

In parallel, the Public Security Directorate reported dealing with 18 incidents involving falling debris and projectiles during the same period.

Authorities confirmed that no injuries were recorded, though material damage was reported in several locations.

Officials renewed warnings against approaching or tampering with any suspicious objects or debris due to safety risks. Residents were urged to immediately report any such sightings through the emergency number 911.

Authorities also stressed the importance of relying on official sources for information and avoiding the spread of rumors or misleading reports as tensions continue to escalate in the region.
