A major power outage hit Al-Mukhaybah in northern Jordan’s Jordan Valley after shrapnel from a missile struck the area, authorities confirmed.

Tahreer Al-Qaq, spokesperson for Jordan’s Energy Regulatory Commission, told Roya News that approximately 5,000 homes lost electricity due to the incident. Repair teams are currently on site working to restore power as quickly as possible.
