According to the military’s media directorate, Royal Jordanian Air Force fighter jets successfully intercepted two missiles that were heading toward locations inside the kingdom. The statement said the interception was carried out efficiently, preventing the projectiles from reaching their intended targets.
Authorities said falling debris from intercepted missiles and projectiles resulted in several incidents across the country. The Public Security Directorate reported that field units handled 17 reports of falling shrapnel and objects in different areas.
In Zarqa governorate, two people were injured with wounds described as moderate, while a residential property sustained material damage due to the shockwave from a powerful explosion.
