Irbid teachers and union members released

Teachers and members of the Jordan Teachers' Syndicate in Irbid have been released on the condition of signing a guarantee that they will be liable for a collective amount of JD 250,000 if they protest again, said the Governor of Irbid, Radwan Al-Atoum.

Hundreds of teachers were arrested in relation to protests that errupted across the country following the suspension of the syndicate in July.
