82 new COVID-19 cases reported in West Bank

In an another surge in the numbers of coronavirus cases in Palestine, Palestinian Minister of Health Mai Alkaila said today that 84 new coronavirus cases were confirmed in the occupied West Bank, bringing the overall total number of cases in Palestine to 1110.

She said in a statement that 63 cases were recorded in the Hebron-district village of Tafouh, 10 others in the same district, four in Bethlehem in the south of the West Bank, two in Ramallah, and three in Nablus in the north of the West Bank.

Out of the total cases, 843 are in the West Bank, 72 in the Gaza Strip and 195 in occupied East Jerusalem.

Out of the 594 have recovered in Palestine, including 383 in the West Bank has, 56 in the Gaza Strip and 155 in East Jerusalem.

Five deaths were recorded, including two in West Bank, two in East Jerusalem and one in Gaza.
