We asked our followers on our Facebook page to participate in a poll and share their thoughts about whether they think the government should reimpose a comprehensive curfew every Friday or not, as the government has recently announced that total curfews will no longer be imposed.

Results of the poll showed that the majority of our respondents, 61%, were in favor of the idea that the government should reimpose a total curfew on Fridays, while 39% believe that imposing a comprehensive curfew is not a solution.

"A big YES... We are not yet 100% COVID free, people were going around without masks and neglecting social distances, they forgot that we are still under pandemic situation, roads go back to as it is... HEAVY TRAFFIC, we really hope to go back to normal life as long as we are already 100%covid free, in our present situation, I think we need still to implement the curfew and car encoding, for those who are working late they can be exempted from the curfew, of course, they should have their permits," Nurjannah Macud commented.

Pattie Villena Caldoza B posted "Big yessss and should also impose the curfew back from 7 pm till 7 or 8 to 8 am."

Prima Landicho suggested imposing a curfew every Friday and Saturday, saying "Curfew should be Friday and Saturday. And every day curfew 8 pm. to be sure everyone is inside the house and be safe. God bless Jordan."

"Yes, it's better to continue the comprehensive curfew for the safety measure to all of us," Lulu Kyle Alfonse Raakin commented.

"Yes, we need to impose lockdown or curfew every weekend," Lamiszusesl Lamis thinks.

Lala Corpuz Mangonon believes that imposing a curfew is not a solution and that people should have self-discipline."

Nick Lyall thinks that since most sectors have reopened and people are interacting with each other, it makes no sense to impose a curfew once a week.

"I don't see the point of the curfew. Like is there a special time and day the virus comes out? The curfew is ridiculous my opinion!" Amanda said sarcastically.

Raoul Bausewein provided an alternative to imposing a curfew, suggesting that the government should strictly fine people who don't commit to the safety measures.

"No, because people rush to the supermarket and it gets really crowded which is exactly what we don't need," Alleroy Z posted.
