The spokesman for the National Committee for Epidemics, Nathir Obaidat, stated that people may be allowed to hold wedding parties, but that could be limited to 50 people, provided that they undergo a COVID-19 test 24 hours before the party.
In press statements, Obaidat said that "no one knows when this epidemic will end, especially in the absence of a vaccine."
He added, "No one can know for sure when life will return to normal as it was before the epidemic".
On the epidemiological situation in Jordan, Obaidat noted that it's good, describing it as "comfortable".
He indicated that the recommendations of the Committee are not presented to the media.
