The director of health affairs in Mafraq governorate, Dr. Hani Olaimat, has announced today that 42 truck drivers tested negative for coronavirus.

In press statements, Olaimat stated that the samples were taken from drivers who entered the Kingdom through the Al-Karama and Jaber border crossings since the beginning of this month to make sure they aren't infected with the virus, Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported.

He confirmed that the government agencies and the National Committee for Epidemics tightened the procedures on the border crossings in Mafraq to prevent the spread of the virus.
