For the second day in a row, no new coronavirus cases were confirmed in the Kingdom today. However, three cases were recorded at the Jordanian borders, the Minister of Health, Saad Jaber, announced.

The Minister said during a press briefing at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management that the infected are truck drivers, of whom one is Jordanian and the other two are Arab nationals.

"15 recovery cases were reported today, of whom nine at Queen Alia Military Hospital, two at Prince Hamzah Hospital and four at King Abdullah University Hospital," the Minister stated.

He added that "over 2,915 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the Kingdom today."

Jaber pointed out that the "epidemiological situation in Jordan is excellent and we must maintain this achievement."

He pointed out that health centers will be open next Sunday to receive children who have to be vaccinated.
