Minister of State for Media Affairs, Amjad Adaileh, has announced that the launch of a few social protection programs has been postponed, including a government program to aid day laborers, which was scheduled to launch today.

In a statement, Adaileh said that Prime Minister Omar Razzaz will launch two programs tomorrow, April 16, namely the day laborers aid program and a program for employees of economic facilities affected by the COVID-19 crisis, which supports them through the Social Security Corporation (SSC).

The State Minister pointed out that the reason for the delay is to complete arrangements for the two programs.
