Three people have tested positive for coronavirus after having direct contact with an infected truck driver in Irbid governorate, the official overseeing the coronavirus situation in the northern governorates, Wael Hayajneh, announced today.

Hayajneh added that tests were conducted at the King Abdullah University Hospital for ten of those who were in close contact with the driver, who tested positive after coming to Jordan from a neighboring country last week.

He mentioned that preliminary results show that the ten samples are likely to be positive.
