Cave collapses onto two men in north Jordan’s Irbid: police source

A report was received by the Irbid Police Operations Room on Monday evening regarding the collapse of a cave onto two people, who are brothers, in the Hawara area of north Jordan's Irbid governorate, a security source told Roya.

Security forces and Civil Defense teams were dispatched to the site, where it was confirmed that one of the two remains trapped, with efforts ongoing to rescue him and manage the situation.

The other brother was transported to Ramtha Governmental Hospital after sustaining an injury to the knee and is currently receiving treatment.
