The Jordanian authorities have taken further precautionary measures against the novel coronavirus.

A source told Roya that the Queen Alia International Airport authorities have shut down all gates in a precautionary measure aimed at preventing the spread of the virus.

Non-Jordanians arriving from abroad were prevented from entering the airport, the source confirmed, adding that Jordanians coming from abroad will be immediately put in quarantine even if they don't have the virus.
