Two Jordanian brothers were sentenced to seven and a half years of hard labour and were issued a 5,000 JOD fine on Tuesday, after being caught growing cannabis in their home.

The brothers were growing marijuana on the rooftop of their family home in Amman.

An anonymous person tipped Anti-Narcotics Department off about the brothers, who are in their twenties, after which a security force was immediately sent out to arrest them and confiscate their drugs.
